Allo Restaurant Beirut, Dubai

"If you want to try Lebanese cuisine, I recommend a visit to Allo Beirut, my favourite place to go is the branch on Hessa Street. No visit here is complete without the sensationally good Shish Tawouk (grilled chicken breast cubes on a skewer) with fries or Arabic salad and the Lebanese garlic paste Toum. and pomegranate dressing). They also serve homemade shawarma, pizza and falafel. The order goes well with Tabbouleh (parsley salad with lots of lemon juice) or Fattouch (classic salad with mint, bread crisps and pomegranate dressing). This is comfort food at its best! For those who prefer a more upmarket atmosphere, the Al Safadi is a good alternative, but I personally like the bustling atmosphere of Allo Beirut a little better." (Published in April 2024)
